Thyristor contactors (starters) TS 0.4-100-1/2 are designed for switching capacitor battery stages in dynamic installations of reactive power compensation of the type: Automatic compensator of power factor, Dynamic compensator of power factor, Power factor correction installation, etc. Dynamic compensator of power factor is used in electrical networks with a very rapid change in the nature of the load, for example, controlled electric drives, welding equipment, conveyors, elevators, punching presses, gantry cranes, etc.
